Metal Dog

I'm a professional photographer, writer and historian, aged late 40s, born and bred in Bloxwich, which is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, itself located within The Black Country region of England.  The Black Country was the inspiration for Tolkien's dark land of Mordor in The Lord of the Rings...

I enjoy listening to heavy metal and classic rock music and their history, and collect vinyl records in this genre especially Judas Priest and the NWOBHM bands (in a small way!).  I am interested in science and its history, local history, and alternate history.  I am currently researching the local history of heavy metal music in Walsall and The Black Country.

I read science fiction and fantasy fiction, as well as history and science books.  I am an aspiring SF and fantasy author, and am currently working on several stories.

I also love dogs (hence Metal Dog, and of course god is dog spelled backwards.  I certainly believe in dogs :O)
